Steve's Goldfish Tank Here is a
picture of My goldfish tank at home. The aquarium is 26 gallons, and it was started about a month ago. There are three lionheads in the tank, Chubby, Gubby, and Shimmy. Chubby is the biggest one. Gubby is small and
orange. Shimmy is small and white. 10/4/1998
There is an nasty algal bloom in the tank that causes a green clouding of the water. I have hooked up three separate filters to help reduce the cloudiness of the tank. I also
change about five gallons of water per week. |

Almost overnight, the cloudy green algae cleared up! Awesome! But now I have to clean the plexiglass better, because you can see the surface algae very clearly. I have removed the Magnum 220 filter, because I think the
other two filters will do an adequate job from here on out. |

is a picture of my other aquarium. It is a ten gallon aquarium that houses finned refugees from Charles' 20 gallon aquarium and Ken's 10 gallon hex-aquarium. There are four platies, four bloodfins, one serpae tetra, and
two otocinclus, as well as various live plants from Charles' 20 gallon aquarium. |
